Terms of service

Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 June 2026

1. Overview

This website is operated by Storage Organisers.

Throughout these Terms of Service, the terms “Storage Organisers”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Storage Organisers.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of:

  • storageorganisers.com.au

  • Our online store

  • Products and services offered through the website

  • Customer accounts

  • Website tools and features

  • Content made available through our website

By accessing our website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service together with any policies referenced in them, including our:

  • Return and Refund Policy

  • Privacy Policy

  • Shipping and Delivery Policy

  • Any product-specific terms clearly displayed before purchase

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or purchasing from us.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Eligibility and Website Use

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to place an order through our website.

Where a person under 18 uses the website, they must do so with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

You must not use our website:

  • For an unlawful purpose

  • To violate any applicable law

  • To infringe another person’s rights

  • To transmit malware or harmful code

  • To interfere with the security or operation of the website

  • To collect personal information without authority

  • To engage in fraud or deceptive activity

  • To place false, misleading or unauthorised orders

  • To scrape, copy or reproduce website content without permission

  • To misuse discount codes, promotions, referrals or loyalty programs

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect our customers, systems, staff, business or legal rights.

3. Shopify and Third-Party Services

Our online store is hosted through Shopify.

Shopify provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to display and sell our products.

We may also use third-party providers for:

  • Payments

  • Fraud prevention

  • Packing verification

  • Customer service

  • Workflow management

  • Shipping and tracking

  • Reviews

  • Loyalty programs

  • Marketing

  • Analytics

  • Website functionality

Your use of some services may also be subject to the relevant provider’s terms and privacy practices.

4. Product Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, dimensions, images, prices and specifications are accurate.

However:

  • Measurements may be approximate

  • Minor manufacturing variations may occur

  • Colours may appear differently depending on lighting, photography and screen settings

  • Natural materials such as bamboo, timber and stone may vary in colour, grain, texture and finish

  • Packaging may change without affecting the product’s intended function

  • Product images may include styling items not included with the purchase

The contents of each purchase are determined by the product title, product description, selected variant and “What’s Included” information displayed on the product page.

Customers are responsible for reviewing all relevant dimensions, specifications, installation requirements and product details before ordering.

5. Measurements and Product Suitability

Before purchasing, you are responsible for checking that the selected product is suitable for your intended purpose and space.

This includes checking:

  • Product dimensions

  • Cabinet dimensions

  • Internal opening dimensions

  • Access points

  • Clearances

  • Installation requirements

  • Product capacity

  • Weight limits

  • Compatibility

  • Intended use

For bins, hampers, pull-out systems, cabinet products and other fitted items, you should measure the intended installation space carefully before ordering.

Ordering the wrong size, taking incorrect measurements or purchasing a product that does not fit will generally be treated as a change-of-mind matter under our Return and Refund Policy.

6. Product Availability

Products may be available in limited quantities.

Adding a product to your cart does not reserve it.

Inventory may change before checkout is completed.

We may limit quantities where reasonably necessary because of:

  • Limited stock

  • Suspected resale activity

  • Pricing or listing errors

  • Fraud concerns

  • Supplier restrictions

  • Promotional limits

  • Unusually large quantities

  • Operational constraints

If we cannot supply a purchased product, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund or alternative option.

7. Orders and Contract Formation

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products.

An automated order confirmation confirms that we have received the order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted.

The contract for sale is accepted when we:

  • Confirm acceptance;

  • Begin fulfilment; or

  • Dispatch the order,

whichever occurs first.

We may contact you before accepting or dispatching an order where additional information or verification is reasonably required.

8. Order Verification and Fraud Prevention

We may review orders for fraud, payment risk, delivery risk or unauthorised use.

For certain orders, we may request:

  • Confirmation of the customer’s identity

  • Confirmation of the billing or delivery address

  • Confirmation of order details

  • Telephone verification

  • Additional payment verification

  • Evidence that the payment method is authorised

  • Collection identification

  • Signature on delivery

We may place an order on hold while verification is completed.

Where an order presents a genuine fraud, security or payment risk, we may reasonably:

  • Delay fulfilment

  • Request further verification

  • Limit the available delivery method

  • Cancel and refund the order

  • Refuse the transaction

We will not use fraud checks to avoid legitimate consumer obligations.

9. Accurate Customer Information

You must provide accurate and complete:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Telephone number

  • Billing information

  • Shipping address

  • Account information

You are responsible for checking order and delivery details before completing checkout.

Please contact us promptly if an error is discovered.

We cannot guarantee that an address, product or order change can be made after fulfilment has started.

Additional freight, redelivery or return-to-sender costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer may be payable by the customer, except where the error was caused by Storage Organisers.

10. Prices

Prices are displayed in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise.

Prices may change without notice before an order is placed.

The price applying to an accepted order will generally be the price displayed at checkout, subject to correction of genuine pricing or technical errors.

Prices may include GST where applicable.

Shipping, bulky-delivery charges or other clearly disclosed charges may be added at checkout.

11. Pricing and Listing Errors

Despite reasonable care, a product may occasionally be listed with an incorrect:

  • Price

  • Discount

  • Product description

  • Image

  • Shipping charge

  • Availability status

  • Variant

  • Specification

Where an obvious or genuine error occurs, we may contact you before fulfilment and offer the choice of:

  • Proceeding with the corrected information; or

  • Cancelling the affected product for a full refund.

We will not rely on this clause to avoid an order merely because the sale later becomes commercially inconvenient.

12. Payments

Payment must be made through a payment method offered at checkout.

Orders may be subject to approval by the applicable payment provider.

You confirm that:

  • You are authorised to use the selected payment method

  • Payment information supplied is accurate

  • Sufficient funds or credit are available

  • The transaction is not fraudulent or unauthorised

We do not ordinarily store complete payment-card details.

13. Discount Codes and Promotions

Promotional offers may be subject to additional terms displayed with the offer.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Discount codes cannot be combined

  • Codes must be entered before checkout is completed

  • Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively

  • Promotions may exclude certain products or collections

  • Promotions are subject to availability

  • One use may be allowed per customer, household or order

  • Free gifts are subject to stock availability

  • Discounts have no cash value

We may cancel or correct promotional benefits obtained through fraud, manipulation, duplicate accounts or technical misuse.

Nothing in this section affects rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

14. Gift Cards, Store Credit and Loyalty Benefits

Gift cards, store credits, loyalty points and rewards:

  • Must be used according to the conditions supplied with them

  • Cannot ordinarily be exchanged for cash

  • May be subject to an expiry date where legally permitted and clearly disclosed

  • May be cancelled where obtained through fraud or error

  • Must not be transferred or sold without permission where prohibited by the applicable program

Where the law requires a different treatment, the applicable law prevails.

15. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping and delivery are governed by our Shipping and Delivery Policy.

Delivery timeframes are estimates unless expressly stated to be guaranteed.

Delivery may be affected by:

  • Courier delays

  • Weather

  • Peak trading periods

  • Remote delivery locations

  • Public holidays

  • Supplier delays

  • Customs or port delays

  • Events outside our reasonable control

Orders may be shipped in multiple cartons or separate consignments.

Smaller products may be packed inside larger storage products to protect them and use packaging efficiently.

Customers should check all cartons, packaging and tracking information before reporting an item as missing.

16. Authority to Leave and Delivery Instructions

Where a customer selects or authorises authority to leave, the courier may leave the parcel at the delivery address without obtaining a signature.

Any delivery instruction is subject to:

  • Courier procedures

  • Site accessibility

  • Safety considerations

  • Weather conditions

  • Driver discretion

  • Applicable law

Storage Organisers does not guarantee that a courier will follow a requested placement instruction.

This clause does not remove any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Risk and Title

Ownership of products passes to the customer once full payment has been received and the products have been delivered, subject to applicable law.

Risk in products generally passes on delivery to the nominated delivery address or authorised recipient.

Nothing in this section limits our obligations where products are lost, damaged, incorrectly delivered or otherwise fail to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.

18. Packing and Dispatch Evidence

Orders may be photographed or recorded during packing and dispatch.

Records may include:

  • Products and quantities

  • Product variants

  • Internal protective packaging

  • Cartons

  • Shipping labels

  • Parcel weights

  • Packing dates and times

  • Staff member details

We may use these records for:

  • Quality control

  • Packing verification

  • Missing-item investigations

  • Damage investigations

  • Fraud prevention

  • Courier claims

  • Chargeback responses

  • Staff training

  • Warehouse improvements

Packing evidence will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

19. Inspection on Delivery

Customers should inspect products reasonably promptly after delivery.

Where a product appears damaged, broken, missing, incomplete or incorrectly supplied, customers should contact us and retain:

  • The affected product

  • All cartons

  • Internal packaging

  • Shipping labels

  • Relevant photographs or video

Broken-glass and transit-damage reporting requirements are explained in our Return and Refund Policy.

Any reporting timeframe in our policies does not exclude rights that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

20. Returns, Refunds and Change of Mind

Returns, refunds and replacements are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

Approved change-of-mind returns are subject to the conditions disclosed in that policy, including where applicable:

  • A 25% restocking fee

  • Customer-paid return freight

  • Non-refundable original delivery costs

  • Product-condition requirements

  • Return request timeframes

  • Written return approval

Ordering the wrong size, taking incorrect measurements, purchasing an unsuitable model or deciding that a product does not fit will generally be treated as a change-of-mind return.

Products in the Bins & Hampers Collection are subject to a strict 7-day change-of-mind request period from delivery.

These conditions do not apply where they would limit a customer’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

21. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

Products sold by Storage Organisers come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Depending on the circumstances, a customer may be entitled to:

  • Repair

  • Replacement

  • Refund

  • Replacement component

  • Compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss

  • Another appropriate remedy

The remedy depends on whether the failure is major or minor and the requirements of the Australian Consumer Law.

We may reasonably assess a product and request supporting information before confirming a remedy.

22. Large, Bulky and Installation Products

Large or specialised products may include:

  • Pull-out bins

  • Cabinet bins

  • Hampers

  • Waste systems

  • Kitchen storage hardware

  • Large baskets

  • Oversized storage products

  • Installation products

Customers are responsible for reviewing all installation requirements and measurements before ordering.

Storage Organisers does not provide professional installation advice unless expressly stated.

Any diagrams or general installation information are provided as a guide and do not replace assessment by a suitably qualified installer.

Incorrect installation, misuse or failure to follow instructions may damage the product or surrounding cabinetry.

23. Installation and Safety

Products must be installed and used according to:

  • Product instructions

  • Weight and capacity limits

  • Safety warnings

  • Applicable building or trade requirements

  • The intended use of the product

Where professional installation is reasonably required, the customer should engage a suitably qualified person.

Storage Organisers is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, modification, overloading, misuse or failure to follow instructions, except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded.

24. Glass Products

Glass products must be handled carefully.

Customers should:

  • Avoid sudden temperature changes unless the product is expressly designed for them

  • Avoid impact against hard surfaces

  • Inspect glass before use

  • Discontinue use if glass is chipped, cracked or damaged

  • Follow stated care instructions

  • Keep broken glass away from children and food

Natural and minor manufacturing variations that do not affect safe function are not necessarily product faults.

25. Pre-Orders and Backorders

Products marked as pre-order or backorder are not available for immediate dispatch.

Estimated arrival and dispatch dates are provided in good faith but may change because of:

  • Manufacturing delays

  • Supplier delays

  • Freight or port delays

  • Customs delays

  • Weather

  • Events outside our reasonable control

By purchasing a clearly identified pre-order or backorder product, you acknowledge that dispatch may occur later than for an in-stock product.

Mixed orders may be held and dispatched together unless otherwise stated or arranged.

Cancellation and return conditions are set out in our Return and Refund Policy.

Nothing in this section excludes rights applying where a product cannot be supplied within an agreed or reasonable time.

26. Order Cancellation by the Customer

You may request cancellation before fulfilment begins.

Cancellation is not guaranteed once an order has entered packing, dispatch or supplier allocation.

Where cancellation is approved:

  • Any applicable refund will be processed to the original payment method

  • Clearly disclosed and lawful pre-order costs may apply

  • Change-of-mind conditions may apply where fulfilment has already commenced

We will not charge a cancellation fee where doing so would be inconsistent with the Australian Consumer Law.

27. Cancellation by Storage Organisers

We may cancel an order where reasonably necessary because:

  • The product is unavailable

  • A genuine pricing or listing error occurred

  • Payment was declined or reversed

  • Fraud or unauthorised use is reasonably suspected

  • Customer verification was not completed

  • Delivery cannot reasonably be completed

  • The order breaches purchase limits

  • The order involves illegal or prohibited activity

  • An event outside our reasonable control prevents supply

Where we cancel an order before supply, we will generally provide a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled products.

28. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers should contact Storage Organisers and allow us a reasonable opportunity to investigate an order issue before commencing a chargeback or payment dispute.

Where a payment dispute is submitted, we may provide relevant records to the payment provider, including:

  • Order details

  • Customer communications

  • Packing photographs or video

  • Shipping labels

  • Tracking information

  • Delivery confirmation

  • Return records

  • Refund or replacement records

  • Fraud-verification records

This does not restrict a customer’s lawful right to dispute a transaction.

29. Customer Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of login details

  • Activity conducted through your account

  • Providing accurate account information

  • Notifying us of suspected unauthorised use

We may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary because of:

  • Fraud

  • Abuse

  • Security risk

  • Repeated misuse

  • Unlawful conduct

  • Serious breach of these Terms

We will handle account information according to our Privacy Policy.

30. Reviews and User Content

Where you submit a review, image, video, comment, testimonial or other content, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to submit it

  • It is accurate to the best of your knowledge

  • It does not infringe intellectual property or privacy rights

  • It is not defamatory, threatening, unlawful or misleading

  • It does not contain malware or harmful material

You retain ownership of your original content.

By submitting content for publication, you grant Storage Organisers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, edit for formatting and use that content in connection with our website, products and marketing, subject to applicable privacy and consumer laws.

We may remove content that is unlawful, fraudulent, irrelevant, abusive or breaches these Terms.

We will not prevent or remove a genuine negative review merely because it is critical.

31. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all website content is owned by or licensed to Storage Organisers.

This includes:

  • Product descriptions

  • Photography

  • Graphics

  • Logos

  • Branding

We are not responsible for:

  • Products or services supplied independently by third parties

  • Transactions conducted outside our website

You should review the applicable third-party terms before using those services.

33. Website Availability

We aim to keep the website available and functioning correctly.

However, access may occasionally be interrupted because of:

  • Maintenance

  • Security updates

  • Technical faults

  • Hosting issues

  • Provider outages

  • Events beyond our reasonable control

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

We may update, suspend or discontinue website features where reasonably necessary.

To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that:

  • The website will always be available

  • Every website error will be corrected immediately

  • Product availability will remain unchanged

  • General organising or installation information will suit every situation

  • Third-party tools will always function without interruption

Nothing in this section excludes any guarantee, warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

35. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies:

  • The Australian Consumer Law

  • Consumer guarantees

  • Liability that cannot lawfully be excluded

  • Rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited

To the extent permitted by law, Storage Organisers is not liable for loss caused by:

  • Unauthorised or unlawful use of the website

  • Incorrect information supplied by the customer

  • Incorrect installation

  • Misuse or overloading

  • Failure to follow product instructions

  • Customer modifications

  • Third-party websites

  • Events outside our reasonable control

Any limitation of liability will apply only to the extent that it is lawful and reasonable in the circumstances.

36. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for reasonable loss suffered by Storage Organisers arising directly from:

  • Your unlawful use of the website

  • Your fraudulent conduct

  • Your material breach of these Terms

  • Your infringement of another person’s rights

  • Content you submit unlawfully

This clause does not require you to indemnify Storage Organisers for loss caused by our own negligence, breach of law or misconduct.

37. Privacy

Our collection, use, disclosure and storage of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

This includes information connected with:

  • Orders

  • Accounts

  • Marketing

  • Packing photographs

  • Shipping labels

  • Customer claims

  • Monday.com issue records

  • SendPack evidence

  • Fraud investigations

  • Payment disputes

38. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that part will be read down or severed to the minimum extent required.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

39. No Waiver

If Storage Organisers does not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, that does not mean the right has been waived.

A waiver is effective only where clearly communicated.

40. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the policies and product-specific conditions referenced in them, form the agreement governing use of the website and online purchases.

Nothing in this clause excludes representations or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

41. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary to reflect:

  • Changes to our services

  • Changes to our systems

  • Operational changes

  • Legal or regulatory changes

  • New website features

The updated version will be published with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen under an accepted order.

42. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

The parties submit to the courts and tribunals having jurisdiction in New South Wales and any other jurisdiction required by applicable consumer law.
